Just a quick update, not much done this week as my workspace has been invaded by our living room furniture due to a new carpet being laid today so hopefully this evening I can get the cupboards back in place and resume work on the artillery crews.
Ok, the figures are running well, a few glitches but I think I'll have all codes ready for Warfare next weekend. Flags are also coming on so expect to see about a dozen for both Royalist and Patriot armies.
I have also managed to get some packs ready for the display racks. The packs will comprise eight line infantry (two each of four codes), command will be four figures (Officer, drummer, ensign and Sergeant) whilst the Grenadiers will comprise four identical figures, at least for the time being. The packs are generally only to make show sales easier so the figures will also be available individually at 85p each.
These are all 28mm figures and compatible with most other manufacturers wares.
So I think I will have managed to meet my target date of Warfare for the first batch of figures for these conflicts.
I am at present working on artillery crews for both sides and there will also be a 4pdr gun, I already have 8pdr and howitzers should they be required. Then Royalists in their 1815 uniform and Cazadores de los Andes along with some cavalry if only I can get the horses to come out right!!
For the time being that is enough but next year I intend starting on some British Legion figures so stay tuned. I will get some more photos done as soon as I can.
